Treehouse Adds Virtual Reality Certification Course

Portland-based online coding school operator Treehouse said this morning that it has launched a brand new, online virtual reality certification, aimed at aspiring virtual reality developers. According to Treehouse, its new "VR Techdegree" will provide the skills needed for students to build virtual reality apps. Treehouse said the skills are specifically designed to prepare students for entry-level developer jobs. The company said it will roll out the new VR courses in January of 2017. Treehouse says that most of its "Techdegree" programs costs $199 per month, and typically take 12 months to complete.
