Deako Raises $3.3 For Smart Light Switches

Seattle-based Deako, a developer of "smart" light switches, disclosed a $1.8M funding round from angels today, saying it has now raised $3.3M in total funding. The startup, which was part of the YCombinator startup accelerator, is aiming its light switches in new construction, at a price point much lower than current custom lighting solutions. The company was founded by Derek Richardson and Alexander Strunkin.
