Whitepages Powers Caller ID, Spam Caller ID On Galaxy S7

Among a large number of announcements on Samsung's newly announced phone, the Samsung Galaxy S7 over the weekend at the Barcelona Mobile World Congress, Seattle-based Whitepages said it has partnered with Samsung to provide caller ID and spam caller identification services. According to Whitepages, it will provide Galaxy S7 users with a new service, which will help users identify unkonwn callers. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Whitepages says it has a database of more than 600 million active mobile and landline phone numbers in the U.S., and over 1.5 billion unique numbers globally, which is powering the new service. Whitepages already powers a similar service for T-Mobile; it also offers up iOS and Android apps which provide the same features to any user.
