Itron Names COO

Liberty Lake-based smart meter maker Itron has named Tom Deitrich as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, the company said late Wednesday. Deitrich had previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Digital Networking at Freescale, and had been at Freescale since 2006. Deitrich also has served at Flextronics, Sony, and GE. Itron said Deitrich joins the firm in October.
