Amazon Targets Startups With New Program, Amazon Launchpad
Seattle-based Amazon.com wants to make it easier for startup to get their products listed and shipping from the site, with new program called <Amazon Launchpad, Amazon said Tuesday. According to the e-commerce behemoth, the new program will make it easy for startup to launch, market, and distribute their products through the company. Amazon said it will help those startups with brand development and brand pages; marketing tools; global supply chain, and more. As part of the program, Amazon said it has linked up with 25 venture capital firms, startup accelerators, and crowd-funding platforms on the new program.
