Amazon To Hire 6,000 More At Fulfillment Centers
Seattle-based Amazon.com said Tuesday that it plans to hire 6,000 more employees at its fulfillment centers, to help it meet customer demand. The employees--like others at Amazon's centers--will pick, pack, and ship orders to Amazon.com's customers. Amazon said the new positions will all be full time. Amazon has more than 50 fulfillment centers, which act as warehouses and distribution centers for the e-commerce giant.
