Starbucks Denies App Hacking Reports

Seattle-based Starbucks said Thursday that reports that its mobile app have been hacked are false, blaming the re-use of passwords by its users for the reports that hackers are using its app to siphon off customers' bank accounts. Starbucks customers report that its mobile app has been used to repeatedly reload gift cards, which automatically pulls money from a users' bank account.
