Venture Services Firm Tallwave Sets Up In Portland

Tallwave, a company which helps startups commercialize and take their technology to market, said today that it has set up shop in Portland, to tap into the region's growing startup and technology ecosystem. The firm--which got its start in Phoenix, Arizona--said that serial entrepreneur Sean McMahon is spearheading the company's expansion in Portland. Tallwave said it offers up help in rapid prototyping, user validation, sales systemization and branding for startups. McMahon was the founder of EngineWorks, which was acquired by Ethology in 2011.
