Microsoft Buys Datazen Software

Microsoft said Tuesday that it has acquired Datazen Software, a developer of mobile business intelligence and data visualization software. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Datazen develops software for Windows, iOS and Android, and has many customers who also use SQL Server. Microsoft said it will make Datazen's tool available for free to users of SQL Server Enterprise Edition customers with version 2008 or later.
