Kymeta Sets Kundtz As CEO, Taps Zulily's Stolzman As CFO

Redmond-based antenna technology developer Kymeta said this morning that it has named founder Dr. Nathan Kundtz as the company's CEO, and added Marc Stolzman as CFO. Kundtz shifts into the CEO role after serving as President and Chief Technology Officer; Stolzman was most recently CFO at Zulily. Stolzman has also served at Zumiez, Blue Nile and Imperium Renewables. Kundtz had been appointed interim CEO of Kymeta back in December, in conjunction with a $20M funding round. The company did not say anything on why Kundtz replaced former CEO Vern Fotheringham. Kymeta is developing metamaterials-based antennas, which are aimed at satellite communications.
