Unify Square Gets $8.2M From Microsoft, Others

Bellevue-based Unify Square, a provider of software and services built around Microsoft's Lync and Skype software, said this morning that it has raised $8.2M in a Series B funding. The funding came from Microsoft, as well as angels from Yahoo, IBM, and Ariba. Unify Square provides monitoring and analytics for Lync, which is Microsoft's unified communications product targeted at the enterprise market. Unify Sre is led by Sonu Aggarwal.
