Microsoft Azure Clobbered By Downtime
It hasn't been a good last few days for Microsoft's cloud services, Microsoft Azure, as the service saw widespread issues and downtime over the last few days -- which limited customer's access to its SQL databases, storage, virtual machines, and more in Asia, Europe, and elsewhere. No reasons for the widespread issues was given by Microsoft, which reported the downtime on its Azure Status Page. Those issues--according to the status page--ranged from degradation of service, to partial and full service interruptions.
