CollegeNET Signs Virginia Tech

Portland-based software developer CollegeNET reported Thursday that it has signed up Virginia Tech as a customer of its web-based customer relationship management (CRM) software. Financial aspects of the win were not announced. CollegeNET said that Virginia Tech will use its Prospect CRM tool--used for prospecting and communications management--as part of its online admissions process. The two said that Virginia Tech has been using other software from CollegeNet since 1996 to manage online applications.
