Intellectual Ventures Adds Seiko Epson

Bellevue-based intellectual property and patent storehouse Intellectual Ventures said today that it has signed on electronics maker Seiko Epson Corporation (Epson), as a new licensee. According to IV, Epson has licensed its patent portfolio of more than 40,000 IP assets as part of the deal. Financial aspects of the move were not announced.
