13-Year-Old's Company Looks To Raise $70K On Kickstarter For Pet Device
A local, Spokane teenager is hoping to raised $70,000 on Kickstarter for her classroom project--a gadget which allows pet owners to video chat with their dog, and remotely deliver treats. According to iCPooch, it is in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign to raise $70,000 for the device, started as an eighth grade project by 13-year old Brooke Martin. Martin is entering North Central High School in Spokane, Washington. The company--headed by technology veteran James Pelland, and Brooke's father, Chris Martin. The startup has been making the rounds with local angel groups such as the Spokane Angel Alliance over the last few months.
