Sansaire To Shutdown, After Raising $256K On Kickstarter

Seattle-based Sansaire, which develops a high tech, "sous-vide" cooking device, has shut down, despite raising $256,804 on Kickstarter. According to an update posted to supporters on Sansaire's Kickstarter site by CEO Lukas Svec, the company will be "ceasing development" on its Delta device, and closing its doors. The company said the closure comes because its "relationship with the new production facility broke down" and it exhaused all of its available funding.
