Starbucks, Google Tie On High Speed Wi-Fi Connectivity
You can already get free wireless connectivity at Starbucks, the Seattle-based coffee chain. However, Internet giant Google wants to make that access even faster, and announced this morning that it will bring a faster, free Wi-Fi connection to all of Starbucks 7,000 company-operated stores in the United States. According to Google, the deal will offer Starbucks visitors 10x the speed of Wi-Fi in Starbucks stores than before, with Google also connecting up Starbucks stores in Google Fiber cities a connection that is up to 100x faster than before.
