Custom Photo Book Printer RPI Buys Atlanta Competitor

Seattle-based RPI, which manufactures personalized photo books and greeting cards, said today that it has acquired Atlanta-based competitor DPI. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Both RPI and DPI provide web-to-print, personalized photo products, and other custom printing products to a range of customers. RPI said the acquisition will give it faster delivery times, and a stronger presence on the East Coast. DPI had 27 employees, who will join RPI's workforce.
