FutureAdvisor Gets $5M For Personalized Investment Advice

Seattle-based FutureAdvisor, the online investment advice startup headed by Bo Lu, announced today that it has scored $5M in a Series A funding round. THe round came from Sequoia Capital. As a part of its funding announcement, FutureAdvisor also said it is rolling out a new feature, aimed at providing personalized 401(k) fee analysis and recommendations for users. FutureAdvisor operates an online service which provides personalized financial advice to consumers, particularly on their 401(k) investment holdings, using financial algorithms to help those users better manage their finances. The company says it now is providing advice on $4 billion in assets to users. More information »
