1Cast Gains Funding For Personalized Broadcast News

Kirkland, Washington-based 1Cast said today that the firm has scored a round of funding from Eagle River Holdings, LLC. Financial terms of the deal was not disclosed. 1Cast develops technology which the firm can create personalized, on-demand newscasts for consumers. The firm is looking to help distribute broadcast television content. According to 1Cast, the firm's beta will launch later this year. Eagle River Holdings is the investment arm of Craig McCaw.
