FAA Selects Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft has scored a big win for its cloud-based office suite, Microsoft Office 365, reporting yesterday that it has been chosen by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to provide its tools to the agency. Microsoft said it will provide the FAA's 80,000 employees with access to its email, calendaring, instant messaging, and web conferencing tools, via a contract run by Computer Sciences Corp. The $91 million contract was awarded to Computer Sciences Corp. yesterday.
