Microsoft Expands Local Language Support
Microsoft said this morning that the firm is looking to renew its worldwide reach with an effort to localize Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office to "local language" of cultures. According to Microsoft, its Local Language Program (LLP) will help provide individuals with access to desktop computer software in their native language, expanding its normal support in its OS and Office software from around 40 languages to 95 languages through its LLP program. As part of the effort, Microsoft said it is adding fifty nine new language interface packs for Windows 7 and Office 2010.
