MicroVision Gets $4M Order

Redmond-based MicroVision, the publicly held provider of miniature projection display technology, reported today that it has received purchase orders worth more than $4M from Pioneer Corporation. MicroVision said the orders will go towards integration into Pioneer's Cyber Navi car navigation system. MicroVision said the deal is the first where it is selling components and will receive license fees and royalties for use of its display technology, and is also the first commercial heads-up-display using its technology.
