Amazon Takes On Home Goods With Quidsi's Casa.com

Seattle-based Amazon.com is further expanding its e-commerce empire this morning, and has launched Casa.com, a new website focused on selling home goods, including sheets and comforters, cookware and bakeware, window treatments, garden furniture, home decor, and more. The new site comes out of Amazon unit Quidsi, which Amazon acquired in November. Quidsi already operates sites Diapers.com, Wag.com, Soap.com, and Yoyo.com. Casa.com says it has more than 35,000 products selected for "function, comfort and style".
