Amazon's Quidsi Launches Pet Site, Wag.com

Seattle-based Amazon.com has just launched an online, pet store, via recently acquired Quidsi, the parent firm of Diapers.com. According to Quidsi, it has launched Wag.com, an online site focused on pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles and other small animals. Quidsi said the new site will carry food, treats, toys, health goods, grooming supplies, and other pet products. Amazon said it would acquire Quidsi in November in a deal worth over $500M.
