VentureBox Startup Accelerator Launches In Oregon

A new, startup accelerator effort, VentureBox, a new startup incubator in Bend, Oregon, said Friday that it has launched with seven startups in its program. The new accelerator--which runs its startups through a 12 week program patterned after the popular YCombinator and TechStars accelerators--said that CiviData, Customers-Say, JettStream, Pocket Bounty, The Social Business. Vizme, and ZiPede are all participating in its program. VentureBox is headed by Jim Boeddekar, and also includes the involvement of Chris Capdevila (LogicalApps/The Founder Institute), Jim Coonan (Oregon Entrepreneur Network), Dan Hobin (F5 Search Marketing), Chris Kraybill (G5), Michael Taus (Code Benders), and Dino Vendetti (Formative Ventures).
