Oregon Entrepreneur Network Gains Grant
The Oregon Entrepreneur Network (OEN), the Portland based group helping new entrepreneurs with events, seminars, mentoring, and other help, said Friday that it has scored a $75,000 grant from the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF). The Oregon Community Foundation said the funding will go towards creating a series of Accelerator Boot Camps by the OEN. The OEN's bootcamps will be targeted to entrepreneurs in Central, Southern and Eastern Oregon over the next two years. The Oregon Entrepreneur Network's first program's first bootcamp is being run by VentureBox, a new venture accelerator being launched today at the Bend Venture Conference.
