Microsoft, Nissan Link On CRM Effort

Redmond-based Microsoft and auto manufacturer Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. said this morning that the two companies have linked in a strategic relationship. The firm said that they will use Microsoft Dynamics CRM, to create a next-generation dealer management system. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The two said that Microsoft Dynamics CRM will provide dealer and customer relationship management, social collaboration tools, and more to Nissan's dealership network. The system will initially roll out in Japan.
