Microsoft, Yahoo, AOL Tie On Display Ads
Yahoo, Microsoft, and AOL said Tuesday that the three have agreed to work together on a display advertising effort. According to the three, the agreement will allow ad networks operated by each other to offer up premium, nonreserved online display inventory to their advertising customers. Financial details of the link were not disclosed. The three said that they will integrate their real-time bidding (RTB) technologies by 2012 in the effort, which it says will allow advertisers to buy premium display inventory "at scale".
