Airbiquity Deploys With Nissan LEAF

Seattle-based Airbiquity, which develops telematics products for the automotive industry, and Hitachi Automotive Systems, Ltd. said at CES today that the two have implemented their connected services platform for electric vehicles in the Nissan LEAF. The product provides Nissan LEAF owners and drivers with information about battery charging and use, energy usage, remote services and charging stations, and other data remotely via a web site for Nissan LEAF owners, via mobile phone, and smartphones. Airbiquity and Hitachi first announced their collaboration in April of last year.
