Gist Enhances Searches, Blackberry Client

Seattle-based Gist, which develops software to help users better track information about their email contacts, has updated both its Blackberry client and overall product features, the firm said Thursday. Gist--which is now part of Research In Motion, the maker of the Blackberry, said that it has updated the search functionality in Gmail and Gist for Outlook to make it easier to search for contacts. The software also adds group emails and tags. Gist also said it has updated its Blackberry version of its client, which makes it easier to interact with the software through the Blackberry calendar.
