Gist Updates BlackBerry App
Seattle-based Gist, the developer of contact management software which is headed by T.A. McCann, is apparently still hard at work after being acquired just over a year ago by Research And Motion. The company said today that it has launched a new, improved version of its software for BlackBerry, which it says improve performance, reliability, and adds more features to the app. Gist said its new Gist for Blackberry app now includes more frequent updates of social accounts, so that new Facebook friends or Twitter contacts appear faster on the software, among other bug fixes and features. Since being acquired by RIM in February of last year, Gist has--not unsurprisingly--been focusing on enhancing its software for the Blackberry platform.
