Cray Gets Win In Mongolia
Seattle-based Cray, the supercomputer maker, said today that it has scored a win in Mongolia. The firm said that the National Agency of Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, has ordered one of its Cray XE6m supercomputers. Financial terms of the win were not disclosed. Cray said the agency will use its system for regional weather and climate modeling. Cray said the install will be its first in that country.
