Cray Wins Argonne Labs
Seattle-based Cray, the supercomputer developer, reported this week that it has scored a win at Argonne National Laboratory, for one of its Cray CS400 cluster supercomputers. According to Cray, the new Cray CS400 system, "Bebop", will have 1.5 petaflops of performance, and be used in the lab's high performance computer (HPC) efforts. Financial details of the win were not announced; Cray said the CS400 system will be put into production in mid-2017.
