Microsoft's Xbox LIVE Launches Charity Effort
Redmond-based Microsoft said today, via Xbox 360, that it is launching a new, charity event to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. The firm said its Gaming and Giving for Good (G3) charity event will be held on October 1st, encouraging participants to raise money for every hour spent gaming online. The event includes a deal with videogame retailer GameStop to host in-store events with celebrities.
