Microsoft Extends IM Network To Xbox 360
Microsoft has launched a new, instant messaging feature for the firm's Xbox 360 today, saying that the firm's Windows Live Messenger will be available across Xbox 360 consoles. The new instant messaging functionality connects the firm's existing instant messaging service for Windows and Windows Mobile into the popular gaming platform. According to Microsoft, the Xbox 360 Spring Update will carry Windows Live Messenger features, beginning the week of May 7th. The new instant messaging apps will also include unified presence information.
