Maveron Funds Handbag Firm
Seattle-based venture capital firm Maveron, as well as Blue Nile and Zulily co-founder Mark Vadon, have made an investment in a handbag company which sells its handbags through in-home parties. According to Maveron and handbag firm Gigi Hill, Gigi Hill has raised $3M in a Series A funding round. Maveron led the round, with Jason Stoffer and Clayton Lewis both joining Gigi Hill's board. Other investors included Mark Vadon, advisor at Maveron and co-founder of Blue Nile and Zulily, as well as Trinity Ventures. More information »
