Maveron Funds Mobile Wallet Firm Lemon.com
Seattle-based venture capital firm Maveron is the lead investor in Lemon.com, a developer of a mobile application aimed at replacing the wallet in your pocket with software. According to Lemon.com, it has raised $8M in it Series A funding, led by Maveron and including Lightspeed Venture Partners, CampVentures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, The Social+Capital Partnership. Lemon.com's mobile apps digitize things like health insurance cards, credit and debit cards, identification, and more, and also helps users track receipts, tickets, coupons and other items. Maveron partner Amy Errett has joined the company's board with the funding. The firm's apps run on iPhone, Android and Windows Phone. More information »
