Maveron's Stout Heads To Portfolio Firm
Seattle-based venture capital firm Maveron's Brody Stout is joining one of the firm's investments, CitizenHawk, and will become Chief Operating Officer at the firm. Stout, who was a Senior Associate at Maveron, is moving back over to the operational side with the appointment, after serving at Maveron since January of 2007. Stout had previously been co-founder of Right Brain Interactive, an edu-tainment software firm. He also has served at venture capital firm Prospect Street Ventures. CitizenHawk received an investment from Maveron in early 2008; Maveron's Ben Black is chairman of the firm.
