Second Porch Acquired By HomeAway

Portland-based Second Porch, a developer of software being used to market vacation home rentals through Facebook, has been acquired by vacation rentals site HomeAway. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. HomeAway said Second Porch will continue to operate from its headquarters in Portland. Second Porch was backed by the Oregon Angel Fund, and was headed by Brent Hieggelke.
