Porch Adds $65M In Series B

Seattle-based Porch.com said this morning that it has raised $65M, in the company's Series B financing round. The funding was led by Valor Equity Partners, and also included Lowe's Companies, Founders Fund, Battery Ventures, Panorama Point Partners, Capricorn Investment Group, Ty Pennington, and others. The company said the new round brings its total raised to $100M. The company will use the new funds for developing new products, and for a nationwide rollout of its Porch Booking feature. Valor's Antonio Gracias will join the company's board with the funding. Porch is led by Matt Ehrlichman. Porch offers up an online site to look at your neighbor's home improvement projects, and book contractors.
