Porch.com Buys Fountain

Seattle-based home services marketplace Porch.com said Thursday that it has acquired Fountain, a service that had helped users connect with professionals in the home services market. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Porch said it will be opening up a new, San Francisco office as a result of the acquisition. Fountain had been founded by Aaron Patzer, who was the former founder and CEO of Mint.com.
