Microsoft Gets Behind Startup America
Microsoft said this morning that it is supporting the Startup America Partnership, the startup effort announced by President Obama in January. According to Micrsofot, it will make the benefits of its Microsoft BizSpark program available to qualified software startups in that program. The Startup America Partnership was launched by the White House in January, looking to increase the development and success of high growth U.S. firms. Microsoft BizSpark is a program run by Microsoft which provides discounted and free development software to early stage startups, and has been part of a Microsoft effort to gain more adoption for its tools by those companies.
