Winshuttle Raises $12M
Bothell-based Winshuttle, a developer of software which enables users to use SAP directly from tools like Microsoft Excel, announced today that it has raised $12M in a growth equity round. According to the company, the funding came from Summit Partners, and will go towards accelerating global expansion of the firm. Winshuttle allows users to interact with SAP data directly from Excel, web forms, and other software without requiring programming. The company is headed by Lewis Carpenter. The company--which was founded in 2003--said it saw a "record breaking" first half 2010 performance, although it did not disclose any details on finances. As part of the investment round, the firm said that Summit's Greg Goldfarb has joined its board of directors. More information »
