Clearwire Rolls Out 4G Mobile Hot Spots

Kirkland-based Clearwire said today that it has launched availability of its 4G/Wi-Fi personal mobile hot spots, both through the firm's stores and online. The firm, which announced the devices last month, said its CLEAR Spot 4G will cost $99.99, and the CLEAR SPot 4G+ will cost $224.99. Both devices create a personal Wi-Fi hotspot based on the firm's Wimax-based 4G service. The new devices are being made by InfoMark and Sierra Wireless.
