Intellectual Ventures Names New President, CEO

Bellevue-based Intellectual Ventures, the patent licensing firm run by Nathan Myhrvold, former CTO of Microsoft, said earlier this week that it named Adriane M. Brown as its President and CEO. Brown joins the firm from Honeywell International, where she was Senior Vice President of Energy Strategy. Brown also had served at Corning, where she was for 19 years. Brown replaces Edward Jung, who will become Chief Technology Officer for Intellectual Ventures.
