Amazon Selects Winners In User-Generated Ad Effort
Seattle-based Amazon.com has announced the winners of the firm's user-generated television advertising contest. According to Amazon, it has selected Angela Kohler of Los Angeles as the winner of $20,000 in Amazon.com gift cards, plus a trip to the 15th Annual Gen Art Film Festival in New York City, for her user-generated ad promoting the Kindle, 'Kindlicious'. Second prize went to Gary E. Irwin of Philadelphia for 'Wish List'; third to Dian Sananikone, of Marietta, Georgia for 'Proceed to a Better Life'; fourth to David Keenan, of Hacienda Heights California for 'Not Available'; and fifth to Andy Basore, of Brooklyn New York for 'Paper Amazon'.
