Amazon Takes Aim At Packaging
Amazon.com said today that the firm is taking aim at frustrating packaging, and is actively asking its customers to provide feedback on its packaging and that of its manufacturers. The firm said it has started taking ratings on packaging to help it improve the way it ships products to customers, allowing customers to critique the difficulty of opening a manufacturer's original packaging. The firm said it is also looking to be as "eco-friendly" as possible, and is now shipping a number of its products in recyclable, easy to open packaging--including memory from Kingston and consumer electronics from Monster.
