Amazon.com Takes On Custom T-Shirts With Merch By Amazon

Amazon.com is expanding its lineup of services for mobile game developers, saying this morning that it has launched Merch by Amazon, a service which helps developers generate revenue through branded t-shirts. Amazon said it will allow developers to upload and sell custom created t-shirts, where Amazon will handle all of the t-shirt printing and fulfillment, distribution, logistics, and customer service. Amazon is encouraging developers to promote those t-shirts with in-game ads, via Amazon Mobile Ads.
