GoAhead Software Hires Hansen as CEO

Bellevue, Wash.-based GoAhead Software reported today that it has named John Hansen chief executive officer. Hansen, GoAhead said, succeeds Jim Ewel, who resigned after serving as CEO for six years. GoAhead said Hansen previously was CEO for Vallent Corp., a provider of performance management services. IBM acquired Vallent in 2007. Before Vallent, GoAhead added, Hansen served the state of Colorado as its secretary of technology and founded Metapath Corp. in 1994. Marconi PLC acquired Metapath for $720 million in 2000.
